got a new starter but got the other one tested and it was good still but for 45 bucks i just got one i am going to put it in in a few mins will see if that works

but i think something fired because when my friend hooked a battery up the red wire is neg and the black is pos but he hooked up the other why for a sec and there was some smoke that came up for the coil area so i guess i will work there he just remember that when he called this after noon

so what is in that area that could fry
