I finally got my redesigned driveshaft done and installed tonight that I broke at howies! It's the shaft between the trans and t-case. The original design used the yoke that bolts to the front output on a 203 from a 3/4 ton chevy to adapt to my rockwell case. Obviously not designed to handle the power I'm makein now. For the new one I found a yoke from an early 70's f-600 that I was able to mount to the case with a little machine work and my catco salesman found me the slip yoke to mate that to the trans end of the shaft so instead of the little chevy yoke and joint I now have a 1550 joint at the case. Shouldn't have to worry about breakin that one! Time for more HP!!!:D

Hopefully by spring I'll have my 750 holley replaced with a tunnel ram and 2 predator carbs. Hopeing that will put me in the 650-700 hp range. That will tell how the new parts are gona hold up!!

Got to give my new shaft a little test on sat. Stuck in a hole, stuck er in 3rd gear, nailed the throttle and dumped the clutch, boy did the sh!t fly!! lol My buddy dan said he could smell my 12" centerforce clutch a little after, but she didn't break nothing!! So far so good! Memorial is way too far away!! Only problem was another frost plug poped out, lost one at howies too! I'll definately never put brass frost plugs in a mud motor again!
