Got it to fire with the temporary motor just a 305 but seems to run decent. Gotta put the accessories on the motor, get some driveshafts made, drill a hole in the floor for the clutch linkage and then itll be ready to drive onto the trailer and come home for the bigger lift and 3/4ton axles.

I warm them up with the torch, weld and leave it alone at least overnight before putting the cover back on and filling the diff up.

lol nice i might do that since idc if the 3.42s break
you dont have to heat the gear ratio! (just the spider gears) you know those thingy do hickies in you carrier that let the outside wheel spin faster then the inside wheel when you go around a corner and link the axle shaft to the carrier. so you can pull the gear ratio out as to not heat it:headbang:

did you figure out what was with the wires from the snow run?
Littledodge76
02-28-2010, 09:17 PM
Got the wires all figured out, wasnt running on all 8 due to mis matched spark plugs that were obviously in need of replacing, new plugs/wires cap and rotor along with the new headers it sounds like a v8 now :D. Got the hydraulic clutch stuff in but i fubared the location for the master clutch cylinder so the rod off the pedal is trying to push crooked but shouldnt be too hard to correct. Not much to post for pictures nothing has really changed appearnce-wise......yet
