Just picked up my new project yesterday Its an 80's Blazer with a 350 and a TH400 behind it with a 208. Its quite a bit rougher than my last one and it needs alot of work but its got a strong motor and a th400. With the Blazer I picked up some lift springs that are at least 6 inches of lift. I see that some one put a 12 bolt in it too but I am sure they are only 3.08's in it I dont think I am lucky enough to score some 3.73's. I was going to run my 3/4 ton 44 and 14 bolt in it but I think I will stick with a 44 and a 12 bolt instead.

Should be a great project. Sounds like a lot of good parts to start with. What size tires are you planning to run?

[just the same old 38's that have been on the last 3 trucks lol
The goal is to make it bigger than the last Blazer since my truck was a step backwards at stock height

Goal Bigger than this

Just out here looking at this thing and supposedly theres a 350 in it I dont know but someone did a motor swap and put everything back in it A/C Smog everything. It idles high so I need to f with that and the windows dont work so I will be messing with that also Dang power windows hopefully its just a broken wire in the door like always. I figure I will do my lift and such in the winter when I have more time and screwing with the small stuff first.

I am planning on doing a shackle flip if I cut it and flip it will it hold the weight good enough to get it loaded up on a trailer to go get a support welded on it or will it collapse.

most quick stuff will hold to get on a trailer. just make sure it is half assed solid before you move it.

Well my brother dropped off my axles today and I figured out my lift springs are 5inch so now I have all my parts so they can all sit together and collect dust for a while

One of these days I may throw my tires on it to see how bad they would rub and think about cutting away getting sick of not having a place to not work on it. I hated my truck not having a lift in it but on the other hand it is longer than a Blazer so this may not be too bad what do you guys think? I guess we will see what happens in the next few days if the lift and axles happen I dont have air tools here and it would take 3 times the time to do it. Its getting warm out and I am getting mud on the brain.
