I was asked to start a built thread so people can see more of my truck. I dont know much about it but what I was told when I bought it and just diggin around in it . I got some pics of the engine its a vortec 350 it hard to get any because it is a tight fit. So if you want any more just ask and can take whatever. I took some of the 4link front and the rear is just lift blocks and leafs we have all seen that. The motor tranny and tcase all came out of 97 chevy 1500. I know that he said that to put the motor in they had to use short header they where skinny and smaller to fit (slide in). The front is just a d44 with a detriot locker in and upgrade shafts and joints. The rear is a 12 bolt welded. Dics brakes on all four. Has rancho rs5000 shock he said it had 16 inches of lift but I think he meant with every think tires included.

no 4link in rear its just leafs for now
Sweet! , Hey thanks for getting the pics. I know you don’t know much about the engine but this is a swap that people will really be interested in seeing.
What did he do for the dash? Do you know? Wish you didn’t live so far away, would like to get a better look at the harness and sh!t. does it use the Sonoma tank?
Thanks again.
no prob i can drive to show you half way or so or you can look at it at a run the dash is stock sonoma all the gauges work on it he put extra tranny gauge and one other dont know it not hook up and still uses athe stock gas tank but has the fuel pump out of the truck everything else is out of so it has the right fuel pressure and stuff

Can you plumb that air filter to inside the cab or get a air box around it.
Not bad if every one's only picking on your air filter 'eh?

I'm glad things went well. You should try to get a more clear picture of it with the tires on it. But it does look good from what I can see.

nobody wanted to do it but found a place that mounted them well 3 of the 4 cause the 4 has a little 1/4 weather crack on the bead so they said they wont do it cause i could blow it off so me and a friend are going to man handle it and put it on
