I've just upgraded the forums to the latest and greatest version of vBulletin.
As I'm sure you'll notice, I've also enabled some more advertising. I'm not a big fan of it myself, but we need to keep money coming in to pay the bills on the site. Believe me, it's not free!
If you notice ads in the first post of a thread, it's only because you aren't signed in. Log in, and that ad goes away... (it's the most annoying one!)
Also, there are some new features, so poke around, and see what you see!
And like with any upgrade, if you notice anything that's broken, please PM me.
