It would be great if you could create a help wanted section for our fellow minnesota mudders , it would help them out and the employers. what do you think?

I'd be down with that but I was thinking about help with a project or somthing.
Right now I need help replacing cam bearings. I've never done it and can't justify buying the $70+ tool for a one time (probably) use.

I’ve needed it done twice I was going to buy the tool the first time but its not an easy tool to locate on a Saturday afternoon (go into most parts stores and ask for one and they think your bs ing them and making up tools) so I went to the engine shop (they were open on Saturday afternoon but manly to just talk racing with there friends) they didn’t have a problem just installing the bearings (I think they charged me 20.00? for it?) its a job that unless you do it often you can easily mess it up.

if you can figure a way to get it you can use this one ken. they are very easy to do on chevy.

Thank you.

I'd realy like to watch someone do it 1st.
I've seen a few utube vids. but for me hands on always works best.
I imagine if I can't find the local help, I'll get the tool and practice on one of my cores.

One question, I've seen an econo priced installer for sbc only. Will it also remove them?

I created another thread prefix in the classifieds section. Just post any help wanted posts there.
