Howie's Mud Bog 2006

So, what did everyone think of Howie's this year? I was up there on Saturday, and was able to get some pretty good pictures. I had a blast and the mud looked like it was great. I'll try to get my pictures loaded by Tuesday at the very latest. Hope everyone had a blast. I can't wait to hear how Sunday went.

mud?????????? needed a lot More water in the pit. cost for me to enter and camp with my atv $50 ****ing rip off. the security sucked ass why don't you enforce the rules instead of harassing people that aren't doing anything wrong. instead you get to talk to some burly butch girl claiming to be howies sister who is on some kind of power trip because she's a ****ing prison guard, give me a ****ing break. if you have ever attended a Real mud bog the " security" is not drunk and they have two entrances to the pit and they stop people that are not allowed in there. can't have a ****ing atv in the pit area to bring in parts without getting yelled at you but it's ok for the drunk bastards with a slut on the back of their quads to ride around like it's a race track. can't stand by your truck because you might get hit by another truck but you can go and stand behind the "yellow" tape 3 feet away because it's ****ing magical tape and will protect you. drunk people whipping ****ties in the camp ground at 1:30 a.m. ****ing awesome drunk security people not doing anything awesome. not a safe envirement your worried about people getting hurt kick out the *******s that need to be kicked out and enforce the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS RUN AGAIN UNLESS YOU GUY'S "HOWIE" GET YOUR **** FIGURED OUT $50 FOR A WEEKEND OF **** MUD AND STUPID PEOPLE NOT WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION:mad:

well i had a pretty good time. The place seemed for the most part, really put together well. the security seemed fine to me. the bleachers were pretty cool. shovel shot the band was pretty good. the mud was good. a little dry but what can ya do. i just thought the pit should have been a little bigger. there was a lot of trucks which is awesome but it got a little congested. And having to shut down at 5 sucked but thats a county ordinance and out of there hands. Over all i had probablly the most fun at a bog in years and im lookin forward to memorial day!

I did notice that the pit at Howie's was ROUGH... which is good for video, but I can imagine not so good if your in the truck. Lottsa shots of trucks on 2 (sometimes 1) wheels.

I must say that I share in the sentiment of Mudstradamus. The female secuiry gaurds that I encounterd were the nastiest people I've met at a mud run! And sadly both of them threw around the "I'm Howie's sister" line of crap! Plus, when we borought up the fact that we were overcharged, the witch security guard told us that it didn't matter, she was Howie's sister, and basically too bad. The mud sucked, just like it sucked last year, just in a larger scale. I honestly don't think I will ever go back, or recommend this mud pit (if you can eve call it that) to anyone.

i'm not much for bashing mud runs but howies mud sucked , the security staff was very unprofessional . what bothers me is if you say something about them on there web site they kick it off their web page so i thought it would be better said here . anybody feel the same or not
