well, figured i would make everyone happy and use a little bit of everything, got a jeep cj body, a chevy EFI 350, and a ford guy (me) for the next build. I'm startin in early may. I'm gonna do a trail rig, shootin for 38's to 40's for now, coils, 4-link, rockies. Also wondering about a doubler or anything else i was missin? I'm settting up my 4-link right now and finding a hundred different ways to make the "right" 4-link. I was wondering what people thought on it and what they might have done. Lookin at a 105" wb and 40" tires, been playin with the calculators and such but lookin for some tried and tested opinions as well. comments

I have to ask. Did you sell the 79?

It depends more on budget right now...

Make the links as long as you can.
If you make the links short, have a flat belly pan. Clock that t-case flat to fit.
Make the up travel go all the way up, and try to keep the COG low.
