MUD RUN FOR AUTISM
My name is Dylan and I have Autism.
I am 3 year old and I love trucks; but my favorite thing of all is playing in the mud and trucks playing in the mud.
I have a lot of behavior, social, emotional and developmental delays. I go to Eisenhower school here in Fergus Falls to help with developing more acceptable skills.

Please come and join us for the day of….

June 21-22 2008 @ SOGGY BOTTOM BOG(E1119 980th Ave Downing WI)
Registration is at 9:00 am If you don’t have a mud truck, still come and join us for the day of fun.

At time of registration we will put your name in a drawing to win free door prizes, and a Mud Run for Autism sticker, we are also having a raffle, silent auction and food will be available.

Proceeds will go towards purchasing a service dog to help with everyday activities and keeping Dylan safe. Any questions call 218-329-2988

Price to bog is $50.00 that include camping and 2 people. To be a spectator $10.00 and $15.00 to camp. Kids under 12 free with parent.

Everyone has to sign a liability release and if your under 18 must have parent sign release. If your parent isn't with you you won't be admitted so please PM Me you e-mail addy and I will e-mail you a release to print up and have signed to bring with you. NO GLASS!!!! GOOD PULL POINT PLEASE

There is rumor going around that the bog at downing is closed that is not true. everyone please pass the word that the bog is open and we will be having the fund raiser June 21 and 22 we received 4 inches of rain so the pasture/bog is really nice for bogging. Thanks

From the twin Cities, take I94 into Wisconsin exit 28 Glenwood City/ Spring Valley hwy 128 Exit. head towards Glenwood City on hwy 128. stay on 128 to G take G (right) go to stop sign your in Downing. Go straight ahead your now on hwy 170, go through Downing you'll cross a bridge up a ways on the left is a cemetary just past cemetary a curve just past curve 90th Street on the Right. go up hill on 90th bog just ahead on left Watch for signs.

From Stillwater;; Cross lift bridge go up the hill to the right. at stop sign go straight ahead follow E all the way to hwy 128 turn left on 128 go to G on the right. straight ahead on 170 across bridge cemetary on left turn first right onto 90th follow signs bog on left.

From Bloomer: hwy 64 west into dunn county just past Connorsville take Q to the left.
follow Q to 170 take a left just past cemetary turn right on 90th follow signs.

from cumberland.
Hwy 63 south to hwy 64 left on 64 couple miles take hwy 128 straight to Glenwood City. go through to stop sign on main street. go straight ahead to downing your on 170
left turn into downing go straight ahead. cross bridge cemetary on left next right 90th street Follow signs.

from red wing. cross into wisconsin follow to Ellsworth stay on hwy 63 to Baldwin / I 94
take the I94 exit to the east. to exit 28. follow the first set of directions in this list.

Just a note!!!! This is not a fundraiser for autism. This is a fundraiser to help raise money to aid in the purchase of a special needs Dog for Dylan who has autism. All moneys collected from the raffle and silent auction and entrance fees do not go to autism they will go to Compassionate Paws to help purchase the dog. This is a good cause. We just have to make it clear that the money is not going to autism.

That may be true Fluffy but people need to know that the money is going to compassionate paws not to the Autism Foundation. It's still a good cause.
But we have to make sure that no one is miss-led on where their hard earned money is going. We don't need to have misrepresentation law suits filed against the fund raiser. So the money is going to Compassionate Paws to help with the purchase of a special service dog for kids with Autism.

I'm really getting confussed as I'm sure others are too. Now in Wisconsin an auction is selling just like a thrift sale and sales taxes are to be paid.
What number of compassionate paws are you using? Do they or do they not have a fundraising number. if they do that is all you need over here for a raffle. I have been involved in many fund raisers with the VFW and such never had this much of a mess. Well no matter what we are having a mud bog. I just don't want any trouble coming back on us. so there will not be a gun donated for an auction.
