Yeah, the pipe was fun, but maybe not as bad as your project. We didn't have to take the tranny loose. Just beat the crap out of the firewall. Seems REAL tight yet! More pics coming soon along with a project review. Any questions, feel free to ask!

OK, this thing really made a difference! I went from 20lbs. max boost to 25lbs. max boost. I don't use first gear from a dead stop. The "dissle whistle" as Ron puts it, is FRIGGIN SWEET! It's not too loud, like some high school kid's truck. Throaty sound, don't hear it in the truck.

Some parts of the install sucked of course. Had to cut part of the hitch bracket for the tailpipe to pass. Beat the crap out of the firewall to get that 3" downpipe in. Cut out the thing between the motor and the muffler that begins with "cat" and ends with "verter", some massaging of the pipe there.

All in all, IT KICKS A$$!

Started 7 pm Fri. night and went until 10 or 11, then started 8 am Sat. and went steady until 11 pm, then Sun. at 8:30 am till around 2 or so. I had some other odds and ends to tidy up also, but Ron was on the turbo and the top half of the down pipe and I was on mostly on the creeper. Turned out sweet! Response is out of this world, don't hear that excessive exhaust noise in the cab, have to back off the throttle quite often. Real happy with it, would recommend it to anybody.
