Mud Fest 2006

How was everyone's memorial weekend? Mine was pretty good, despite sunburn issues. I spent Saturday at Mud Fest in Hillman, MN. I thought that it was a great time. Moose and I did not bring our truck but, I was perfectly content as a spectator. There were quite a few trucks that had to of had many of thousands of dollars into them. I got some pretty good pictures. I will post them in the photos & video section. I should have them loaded tonight if I don't have any problems.
Did anyone else get their trucks out on this extremely HOT weekend? If you went to Mud Fest what did you think?:)

- Great mud
- Great food
- Great people
- Great party
- A FREAKIN BLAST!!!

I must say that Mud Fest was one of the best mud runs I have ever been to. I still need to unpack and unwind, but I'll post a full recap of the weekend a little later.

But most of all, I want to thank all the great people I met over the weekend! Especially Chevypoweral, Wizard, Backwoods, Tie0644, Chad, Dusty, Gabe (from Big Dummy Mud Racing), not to mention all the guys (and girls) I already knew!

Thanks for a great weekend!

Also, I'll be throwing together a little video from the footage that we (Full Throttle Enterprises) have shot so far this year. I'll try to have something up by next weekend.

Yeah mud fest wknd was blast it was crazy for me a night before i left from my cabin for mudfest on saturday morning cuz i finally done w my mud truck on friday night. the carb was flooded real bad, got gasoline out of it n it ran perfect n got loaded on trailer at 10 pm on friday. left cabin at 5 am on sat. but otherwise.. my truck had NO problems finally! but at first run i went too fast n through a waterly area n got mud in the air then got it in the motor. stalled n starter was busted (the same one from last year) friend (huff) n i hitted the starter w hammer n got it started.. went back it stalled again cuz of low battery. got it boosted. after that it ran GREAT. finally met Mudman, Nova, Moose, ol;blue n more.. hopin next mud run we all ll camp out at same site.

Had a GREAT time there. its my 5th time goin there. 2nd time w my truck.

Mud Fest was fawking crazy!!!!!!!! That was my first time thier. Went up early sat morning! Went through alot of beer!!! What a great weekend!!!!!!! :) Will be up there again, since thiers no Motley any more I hear :(

Mud Fest was a blast New motor, tires, front axel, and gears ended up smokin my trans but thats fine i was planning on upgrading anyways just a little sooner I guess

Yea I was there on saturday. Really hot I would've liked to park in a shader spot. Anyways I thought there was a really good turn out of trucks big and small. It actually looked like it would be better in a smaller truck. So far this year i've been to three mud holes one that could swallow an elephant (Rumours) one that was more like a dirty bath (Mudfest) and the third one I'll let you know when we are going back because it's like a dirty elephant bath all differnt size holes filled with mud not water. Mud fest was really fun and well put together as always.

I TRY TO PARK AS CLOSE TO THE PARTY BUS AS POSSIBLE. WHY WOULDN'T I?

Was that the one with the rear seat mounted up high, and a chevy bow tie cutout for the radiator on the back?

serious? the one w no top? damn i like that shows lol. yeah i have black s10 cab with yellow hood and 4 moon visor, 3 inch pipes out of hood. w/ keg in the middle w radiator w fan on it. its me. who always running around fast n tearing around lol

haha! yeahh cant wait for sept. but idk if i can bring my truck since my haul truck 's suspension seem fawked up lots of nosy w bad shaking so. if i get diesel truck sure i will bring it for sure haha. since its still all ready just need clean up a bit n add up lol.

Yep, that was correct! I rode on the back with my Cowboy hat on and a beer in hand too! :D

Damn thing kep breaking down due to the starter full of mud, and after fixing that the ALT went to hell. After getting both fixed she was back up again!

yeah, I was parked right next to the middle enterance to the pit. tailgate was down and the beers were goin down smooooooooth!!!

thanks man. Stepside trucks have allwaysed been my fav type of truck, sucks seeing many of them being riced out, or lowered instead of being jacked up or sitting normal!

Actually, Mudman, Mudstradamus, and I started a video production company called Full Throttle Enterprises. We'll be filming all summer and put together a DVD that should be for sale by the end of the year. Hopefully, we'll be better than "Trucks Gone Wild"!

We are currently working on a short teaser trailer that should be availible on the Minnesota Mud home page in the next few weeks.

We got him on vid I dont know who was driving. But for the bugs idk they would run for 5 min then go back to the hoses wash parts off and kept going under the hood?

obviously jake was driving cuz he was kept worrying if motor's good or not before brian brought it to mud fest, so maybe still have problem with new rebuilt motor. damn. i wld like to see video of it in the mud. cuz new motor supposed to be better than before.
