I want to trailride

Any place close to the cities to do this? Anyone going somewhere cool to trail ride?

I see that there's a section of trail open, Gandy Dancer, that goes through the Nemidji State forest and into Wisconsin. I don't know of any that are closer. Spider Lake and the Foothills is pretty cool, but it's a bit of a drive.

If anyone else knows of any spots, please let us know. If I ever win the lottery or start making the big bucks, the wife and I have a dream of buying a bunch of land and making a private park for trail riding.

there are some trials over north of Rice Lake WI which is about 2-2 1\2 hours from the cities. atv only though

There is some places in Wisconsin you can go but they only do it on certain weekends. There's dresser which i think they only do it once or twice a year then there apple valley farms that do it a little bit more. These places are not that far from the cities.

Your best bet is to join a club. Check out MN4WDA.com for local clubs.

Why? Insurance. Most places will not let anyone trailride without insurance, clubs have worked this out with the MN4WDA.

Nice thing most clubs let you check them out, and join them on a trail ride. Not a weekend goes by that a few clubs are not out on the trail.


Other than that I'd suggest Gilbert, MN off-road park. 3-4 hours north of the Cities. They a few mud holes, a "large one" that isn't that big.

come check out the dakota dirt diggers we have meeting the second tuesday of every month and we trail ride about twelve times a summer also their is flat fender farms just outside hudson wi or this weekend some guy is having a trail ride in river falls wi if any interest let me know thanks kurt

Trailriding is actually kind of fun. There is a small network of trails down by the river here. Tight squeeze for a fullsize truck but its fun. Then when you get to the sand bar you can let 'er rip.

The Dirt Diggers have the next meeting at the Eagles in farmington on the
14th if you are interested. starts at about 7:30 but maybe earlier if the mojority of the people are there.
