Well, since there seem to be a lot of hickups, and hundreds of pages of stuff that cant be looked at,changed, modified, deleted, or just to even upload pics or vids, is there someone willing to help those that have been selected to manage/watch this amazing website??? For some reason, things on here seem a bit outdated... Just would like to see a small makeover, or just let the current mods have some say and ability to get this site back on top!! I know we are up on the list as far as web traffic, but i think we can do better!!

Just my 2 cents....

So is this all a matter of the site being owned by nova and he having all the power, or the only one that is able to make these changes?

Us mods have tried to change the home page, but are not authorized to do so.

..... lets say i may know someone that knows a thing or two about "fixing things".... would there be consequences for this person for fixing something?.... even though he has nothing to do with the site?

its not that we dont know how. its not possible to do it without going through nova. this site is served from his own computers. not from a web host. if your talking about hacking the admin board through his server. we dont want any part of that.

Does he have any interest in selling the site?

You can send a message through the site here or PM us your info and we will pass it to him. No guarantee that he will get back to you and unless you’re willing to shell out at least 5 grand I seriously doubt you will get any answer. That price has already been denied.

I just don't understand if he stands to make more money if the site was up to date and there was more traffic why he would not want to keep up with the site. Or at least let the mods on here do it for him. Seems like a win win for him.

I think it's his baby, and being A corp bought Pirate now he can wait for a ridiculous offer now.

Not that we are anywhere near their size, but who knows.

This site is awful compared to what it use to be. Seems like nothing has been updated for years. Only reason this thing is still up and going is because people come here to look at pics/videos and to see where the mud bogs are. It would be nice if Nova handed atleast 1 person the keys to update things around here.

I would like to give a big THANKS to everyone that moderates and takes care of this website. This is an awesome website, but it would be nice to see it updated.

I hate to bring up Facebook, but I have a page on Facebook that can be used a lot like this site. People can post about anything they want just like this site. You can upload or share videos, photos and upcoming events what ever you want. I don't have the time or know how to set up a website, so I took the easy route. I used a website that was already set up. Just Google "Mud Minnesota" or search for it on Facebook. I didn't get very creative with the name, as you can see.

While I do agree that a FEW things need to be updated, I do not think the site is awful. Instead of b!tching about the site maybe you should contribute positively. You could start with some good tech! Yes we would all like to see the home page updated but it really doesn't effect the rest of the site that much.

:iagree: My bookmark for this site goes directly to the forum. I don't ever see the home page. I also agree with a lot of the input where some changes would be nice. But yea this is where I get my mudruns and tag-up's
