Just out of curiosity, do you wear your seat belt when you are out mudding?

If you don't NEED a seat belt to keep your head from denting the roof, you're not running hard enough!

I ALWAYS wear mine. A couple of years ago me and a friend jumped in my truck and started heading through the campground to the trails. I told him he might want to buckle up and he said he would when we got to the trail. Well I accidentally hit a couple of ruts on the main road to the trails a little too fast. I didn't think nothing of it cause I had my seat belt on, he didn't and bounced his head off the ceiling. He ended up with a sprained neck and jaw and a minor concussion which ruined his weekend and the next couple of weeks.

Ouch...that sucks. Hopefully he made a quick recovery.

Always, and anyone who rides with me. I run very very hard. If you don't wear a seatbelt, it's gonna hurt.

Had a seat belt on lightly, no top on. Hit the side rollbar with my head, now I always run a tight seatbelt!

We had a guy from our group in a jeep take a roll a while back and got killed also, makes you take a second look at the issue also.

Always!

If you don't wear a seat belt you obviously don't care what happens to yousef or the repercutions to those who love you if something terrible were to happen.

I usually wear my seat belt but my seat is so soft and cushy every time I hit a rut and sink in the seat it tightens up and by the time I get back to the pits I feel like a bull in a rodeo if ya know what I mean

I used to own a car w/ auto belts and it felt unnatural with out them. now if I jump in my car and go to the store with out it on I feel like a rebel/outlaw
yea I'm bad!

on road-off road, use it if you got one, if i'm just tootling around i don't use it, when comes time to go balls to the wall, it's a must to wear your seat belt. unless you like pain.

I'll wear mine 90% of the time on the trail - but the people I usually wheel with stop, break down, or overheat so much it kinda gets annoying taking the belt off every 5 min...

Hey now, I haven't broke down yet this year! Except for that whole "no brakes" thing, but that didn't stop me. (pun intended)

Well - Trollhaugen kinda sucked from all of the stops we had to make... I'm sure things wil get better as the years go by - I'm sure I'll have a few problems with all of this work I'll be doing down the line..

Always. With no doors it becomes a life line of sorts. The only time I let a passenger in my jeep without a seatbelt, he fell out at the top of a hill and rolled all the way down. Frickin hillarious!!
