View Full Version : My 70 is home!!

Me and Josh brought my 70 home. I drove the ford home while he drove the chevy haha. Had to put electrical tape over the head lights so they wouldnt fall out but we got that all taken care of now.. Hopefully I will get some new pics soon. Got all the rust holes filled on the tailgate so I hope to get that back on soon. Anyone that runs across a 67-72 fairly rustfree truck for CHEAP let me know I need some replacement parts for my 70. Would like it to be a parts truck not a complete one. Restoration has started!

Just don't be like me and let your restoration project just sit there and take up garage space!

ha it isnt good enough for the garage haha it has to stay outside for now. I'll be mostly doing body work on it and filling in rust holes. Getting the motor tuned just right. Just little stuff like that so I know that its reliable. I'm gonna start saving up now that i will start working so that next year I can afford to rent a plac eout in the country with at least a decent size shed so I can work on my trucks out there.

or move down to the south with alex...
you should go to advanced auto and see if they have any peices of tubing and clamp it in that space. Its basically straight piped, should sound like anderson pipes when its done

I checked but they aint long enough. I'm just gonna go to midas and buy 70 inches of ID 2 in tubing and clamp it on there. If it sounded like anderson I'd shoot it in the radiater
