snap on are my top pick. They have lots of torque. I had a cheaper 3/4 inch and my 1/2 inch snap on will take off nuts better than it.

I manage a shop that has 10 mech. that use impacts way more than most and most overwhelmingly perfer Ingersoll Rand built impacts. Ingersoll builds impacts for Matco, some craftsman, and others. Over the years the guys have tried just about everything but keep going back to Ingersoll Rand built impacts for there power and longevity.

I still have my I.R. 231 that I bought 25+ years ago. I retired it to home and it still honks. I replaced it with a I.R. 2131 that I've had for about 10 years or so. I use it several times every work day.

Actually the one I bought has a Craftsman brand on it but it's the same gun.

A drop of oil a day really goes far.

thunder gun made by ingersol hands down the best gun I have ever owned. Resonable priced and has worked better then ANY other gun in the shop.

I've been very happy with my Aircat.

I have a snappy impact. While I like it and most bolts and nuts come off effortly, I really do miss the torque of my ingersol. They are lighter then other brands. That hepls with hand fatigue if you use it constantly like I do.

I like my Mac because it is a IR with mac name on it, works the same good power a little heavy but not to bad.

I've been very happy with my Aircat.

I had a NitroCat 1000 for a few years before i bought my mac i liked it a lot great power, mine had the duel clutch instead of duel hammer so it was a litter slower

Aircat for me as well, economical and durable (so far).
