Just for the heck of it I clicked on "last" while looking through the classifieds and found out that the oldest post is from Feb of 2006! Is there a way to auto-delete classifieds after a certain amount of time? I don't know a whole lot about website maintenance but I would think that is taking up unnecessary bandwidth??

Pm Nova, maybe he could whip up a auto delete. If he wants me to I could delete any that are older then a certain date.

Having a lot of posts (mostly unused) doesn't degrade the site performance at all.

The only reason to get rid of older classifieds would be because you guys want less in there.

I think it's kinda funny when someone wants to buy some tires posted in 2007

any post older then a certian age(ie 2 months) should auto delete(or at least go to the archives) so regular browsing wont show it, but if you search for a certian thread you should still be able to find it? I believe ive seen this on other fourms so maybe its possible??
