Sheared Front Spider Gears First Time Out New Truck Snaped Inner Axel Shaft That Same Day!!! Bad Day!!! also sheared pins in lift blocks and had to replace a lockout

speaking of breakin, I lost 2 control arms, broke clean in half. Thank God 4 scrap steel and a welder.

Do you still run lift blocks? I'd get new leafs if you are.

lift blocks are ok in the rear just have to make sure you check to make sure your u bolts are tight every once in a while.

idk I just feel like it'd be best to stay away from blocks. I've heard too many horror stories lol

you are better off without. its just a whole lot more expensive

Springs are better, you elimanate alot of axle wrap with springs. But on the other hand Ive ran blocks in the rear for 4yrs now with out any problem.:llama:

I think he still has lift blocks I welded them to the springs after the pins broke so we could keep running:homes:

i sure hope you meant you welded them to the axel perches and not the springs duh i was there its my truck i know you welded them to the axel perches:arf:

no s**T, it extacly happened same thing to me last july 29-31 weekend at mud fest. s**t ha, thats why i bought mini spool instead of spider gears. plus im gonna get yukon axle shaft. but not pins in lift blocks. since no blocks on my mud trucks ha. but im having a block in rear on my next project, so its gonna be interesting how its gonna to be doing when i fully throttle it. ha since im heavy footer driver.
