Should be quite a task to get it done in one day, hope everything goes smoothly for ya'.

Next big project I do, I'm gonna set up my laptop and webcam and take time lapse photos. Always thought that would be pretty cool.

SuperDirty

Nitto mud grapplers on black moto metal wheels very bad ass!! Would be even cooler if the had showed up in time for the install we had to borrow a set of rims and tires from our good friends at Ken's Auto repair and sales in Ramsey(Ken's 4X4) thanks Dave!!

The most time consuming thing seems to be the FAWKIN diff mods and the pizza break

was a straight axle conversion ever a thought? if i was to lift an ifs truck i would for sure go the straight axle route. just was wondering. cant wait to see how you guys ended up for the day! oh ya the eye thing aint no joke. was plasma cutting with safety glasses on and a piece got blown off the material at just the right angle hit my cheek went right under my safety glasses. burned my cornea, it healed in a day or two but was very painful and was lucky that's all that happened. safety shield or goggles for this guy!

Thanks for sharing! That seriously sucks having to improvise. What did you use for the bars, did you find a tool? Ive used an otc C clamp for ball joints and it works but it’s a crap shoot on when its going to be the time it jumps and ouch.
What all has to be hacked for the install?

Mounts need to be removed from the diff. and frame. after you remove the spindles if you just pry down on the control arm it relieves all the pressure off of the torsion bars it was really easy. there is alwasy a certain amount of hacking involved with "bolt on" kits BTW it's a snap on Hack saw if that makes a difference.

I know but I haven't done a build thread in awhile and I thought it would be fun. It was a good time We got it aligned yesturday and all is well. They did have to stop in garisson and remove some plastic from the front Bumper that made contact and came loose. I'll get some pics next weekend with the wheels and tires that didn't show up on time maybe we'll even play alittle??
